The certificates Covad uses for xapi.covad.com and xapi-test.covad.com are issued by VeriSign, Inc. If you use a browser or other https authentication process which recognizes VeriSign as a Certi ficate Authority (all modern browsers in common use do so), you can connect to xapi.covad.com and xapi-test.covad.com using SSL.
